About the Lorcana Grimoire

Looking for hidden knowledge on Disney Lorcana? You came to the right place, because a grimoire is "a textbook of magic, including instructions on how to create magical objects like talismans and amulets, how to perform magical spells, charms, and divination, and how to summon or invoke supernatural entities". A grimoire is not a cookbook or spellbook like you could find on your great aunt's attic - no, this grimoire has notes scribbled all over - notes by people who went before you and shared their knowledge and expertise to help you perfect your skills. Think of how Harry Potter was bad at Potions, but excelled at it with the notes of the Half-Blood Prince. A bit more serious now

Lorcana Grimoire is a website dedicated to making it easier for new players to understand Disney Lorcana. Lorcana is a trading card game (TCG), launched in 2023, built around Disney character.  The gameplay is a great entry into the world of TCGs, great for children (age 8+) and adults alike. TCG and Disney collectors love it.

In our experience, several TCGs are among the best games ever created, but new players are often scared by the complexity and regular new card releases. You likely had Pokémon cards but never played the card game how its meant to be played. Many of our friends kindly declined many times over the years when we tried to explain Magic the Gathering.

Lorcana Grimoire is now here to help new players (of any age) to learn more about how to play Disney Lorcana by providing guides and set analysis, and by providing tools for efficient card lookup and brewing their own decks with our advanced card database.
