Clunky combo: this Dr. Facilier with a dry Madam Mim, Rival of Merlin and a LeFou - Instigator, preferably with Shere Khan - Menacing Predator. Madam Mim lets you play LeFou for free and grants him Rush. LeFou challenges an opposing character with at least 2 Strength, readies Madam Mim, and would be banished but is returned to your hand due to Dr. Facilier so you can do it again. Shere Khan gains you 1 lore every time Lefou challenges a character. Without Shere Khan, the cycle could take out a lot of opposing characters. "Clunky combo" because it requires 4 cards and opposing characters with 2 Strength. The ideal character to challenge would have 2 Strength and Resist 2, as that means you can do it as many times you want.
Clarifications
- Q. If I control Dr. Facilier - Agent Provocateur and one of my Floodborn characters who used their Shift ability to be played on top of another card is banished in a challenge, do all cards in the stack go back to my hand?
- A. No. Because the stack of cards all go to your discard pile first and become separate cards, you could only return the top card of the stack to your hand.
